Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal network architectures to meet NIST and FedRAMP compliance standards.
- Lead technical initiatives for cloud migration (AWS GovCloud/Azure Government) for federal clients.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to mitigate cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and federal stakeholders.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of mission-critical systems.
- Prepare and present technical briefings and status reports to senior leadership and government officials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Active Top Secret/Secret clearance with the ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments or government contracting.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, SSCP, or Security+ is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
