Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and modernization of federal IT systems and networks.
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to protect against data breaches and cyber threats.
- Lead cross-functional project teams in the design and deployment of enterprise software solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and ensure strict compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Provide expert technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to internal stakeholders and agency partners.
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct technical training sessions on emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or civilian IT environments.
- Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance (or possession of an active clearance).
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and project management methodologies (PMP preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
