Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT systems, network architectures, and software solutions for federal agencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security standards, FISMA regulations, and agency information security policies.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting, system maintenance, and support for mission-critical operations.
- Lead and mentor junior IT staff, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and modernize legacy systems.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security penetration testing.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and incident reports in accordance with federal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required (or the ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
