Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal and state employees via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and ensure productivity.
- Manage and update ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) to track and resolve incidents efficiently.
- Maintain security protocols to ensure compliance with federal data privacy standards and government regulations.
- Assist with software deployment and patch management across distributed remote workforces.
- Conduct user training sessions on new technologies and internal systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Ability to pass a background check and adhere to federal security clearance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
