Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects within the State’s IT infrastructure.
- Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, procurement policies, and cybersecurity standards.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting to senior leadership.
- Drive process improvements and implement Agile or Waterfall methodologies to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT project management, preferably within the public sector or enterprise environment.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is required.
- Proven experience managing large-scale software development or infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
