Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain complex federal IT environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime and security compliance.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data against breaches.
- Project Management: Lead technical initiatives from conception to deployment, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all technical operations adhere to strict federal regulations and agency policies.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and Level 3 support for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and system diagrams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Clearance: Current Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering within a federal or government setting.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, Security+, or Cisco CCNP certification is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
