Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal information systems, ensuring high availability and security of classified data.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols (NIST, DIACAP) to protect against cyber threats.
- Perform system administration tasks such as user provisioning, patch management, and software deployment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Provide technical support and training to military personnel and civilian staff.
- Document all system changes and maintain accurate configuration management records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or cybersecurity within a federal or defense environment.
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or ITIL Foundation are highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
