Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures in strict compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for federal systems, applications, and end-users.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT security policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage user access controls, permissions, and maintain strict data confidentiality protocols.
- Document technical requirements and provide clear, concise reporting to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience, with a strong focus on information security and network administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, encryption technologies, and security frameworks.
- Experience with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and ITIL framework is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting and documentation.
