Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for critical IT infrastructure initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, vendors, and department stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Manage project budgets exceeding $2M and ensure fiscal compliance
- Implement Agile methodologies and track progress using Jira/Confluence
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies for technical projects
- Prepare executive-level reports for City Council and department leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of IT project management experience with municipal/government projects
- PMP or CSM certification required
- Expertise in enterprise systems implementation (ERP, CRM, cloud migration)
- Proven success managing budgets over $1M with 95% on-time delivery
- Strong understanding of CA public procurement processes and compliance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
