Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of major IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution and delivery.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with city policies and federal/state regulations.
- Communicate project status, risks, and achievements to executive leadership and the public.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, resource allocations, and financial forecasts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional Project Management experience, with a preference for experience in the public sector or government.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, cross-functional IT initiatives.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar professional certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
