Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for critical county IT initiatives including ERP modernization and public service portals
- Manage cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and vendors to deliver on-time and within budget
- Implement agile methodologies while ensuring compliance with county governance frameworks
- Develop comprehensive project documentation including business cases, risk assessments, and implementation plans
- Stakeholder management across 30+ county departments to align technical solutions with business objectives
- Monitor project KPIs and provide executive-level progress reporting to county leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive IT project management experience with 3+ years in public sector or large enterprise
- PMP certification or equivalent (e.g., PgMP, CSM) required
- Proven expertise with enterprise-scale implementations (minimum $5M projects)
- Advanced proficiency in Jira, MS Project, and enterprise resource planning systems
- Demonstrated success managing vendor relationships and SLA enforcement
- Experience with ITIL framework and cybersecurity compliance standards (NIST, FISMA)
