Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for enterprise software implementations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, vendors, stakeholders) using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Manage project budgets exceeding $2M and ensure fiscal compliance
- Develop detailed project plans with milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct stakeholder communications and executive-level reporting
- Ensure all deliverables meet CA IT standards and security protocols
- Mentor junior project staff and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of IT project management experience in government/public sector
- PMP certification or equivalent (CAPM, CSM) required
- Proven experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Expertise in risk management and compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, and Atlassian tools
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Valid California driver's license
