Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for statewide IT initiatives
- Manage cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and vendors
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with NC state IT policies and security standards
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive reporting
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies for delivery excellence
- Monitor project performance using KPIs and quality metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of IT project management experience
- PMP or CSM certification required
- Experience with government IT procurement processes
- Strong expertise in enterprise-scale infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage budgets exceeding $500K
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of NC state IT architecture standards
