Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat detection and incident response for state networks
- Develop and implement security protocols across 50+ state agencies
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Collaborate with federal partners on cyber threat intelligence sharing
- Train state employees on security best practices and compliance
- Manage SIEM tools and security automation platforms
- Prepare comprehensive security reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise cybersecurity
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications required
- Expertise in NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Proficiency with Splunk, Palo Alto, and AWS security tools
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
- Experience with Georgia state IT infrastructure preferred
