Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and city stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and stakeholder reporting to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery of critical IT infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- PMP or CAPM certification is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management within the public sector or government.
- Proven experience managing large-scale software development projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Asana.
