Responsibilities
- Lead the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for federal projects, ensuring adherence to strict compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Manage cross-functional teams of developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Facilitate high-level stakeholder communication, including presenting complex technical data to non-technical executives and government officials.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budget forecasting, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all deliverables meet federal quality assurance requirements and security protocols.
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects within the Federal, State, or Local government sector.
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification is required.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT project management or systems engineering.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
