Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and security audits on federal systems.
- Monitor network traffic and security systems to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Implement, configure, and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Manage and respond to security incidents and breaches in accordance with established policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and federal clients to ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP standards.
- Document security configurations, incidents, and audit trails accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Security or related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of FISMA, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response platforms.
