Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, from conception through deployment and post-implementation support.
- Ensure all projects align with federal (FISMA) and state regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and government officials.
- Monitor project performance using key metrics (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Prepare regular status reports and presentations for executive leadership and governing boards.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management within the government or public sector.
- PMP or PgMP certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing budgets exceeding $1M.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
