Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing) for federal IT contracts.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including government officials, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with federal regulations (FAR) and agency policies.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the work of third-party contractors and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- PMP or PgMP certification is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing IT projects in the Federal or State government sector.
- Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
