Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise security frameworks compliant with NIST and federal standards
- Lead incident response protocols for cyber threats affecting critical infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop security policies and procedures for cloud and hybrid environments
- Mentor junior security analysts and coordinate cross-functional security initiatives
- Ensure continuous monitoring of security posture through SIEM tools
- Collaborate with DHS leadership on strategic security roadmaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security compliance
- Active CISSP, Security+, or equivalent DoD-approved certification
- Expertise in FedRAMP and CMMC frameworks
- Proficiency with Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, and AWS security tools
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience leading security incident response teams
