Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain complex federal IT networks and server infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Perform system troubleshooting and hardware/software maintenance for federal systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade and modernize legacy systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal standards such as FISMA and NIST.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (4 years of experience may substitute for degree).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional IT experience in a federal or military environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with network security tools and incident response.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
