Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise system implementations and integrations across city departments
- Manage cybersecurity protocols and incident response for critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS/Azure platforms
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on digital transformation projects
- Ensure compliance with federal and state IT governance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Document system architectures and create training materials for end-users
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience in government/public sector
- Expertise in cloud migration, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise architecture
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect)
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Valid California driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
