Responsibilities

- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and contractors.
- Ensure full compliance with federal standards, such as NIST and FISMA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize IT infrastructure and improve system resilience.
- Prepare detailed reports on security posture and system performance for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure.
- Industry-recognized certification (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+).
- Deep understanding of network architecture, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
