Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal information systems and networks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
- Ensure full compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support to federal clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize system performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, security policies, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar high-security settings.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Strong proficiency with Linux, Windows Server, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with network security appliances and firewall configurations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to government leadership.
