Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of critical federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Implement and enforce strict cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal regulations such as FedRAMP and FISMA.
- Analyze system performance data and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable software solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive government data.
- Document technical processes and provide mentorship to junior IT staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or software development.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to start date.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL, and experience with relational databases.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
