Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex government information systems and networks.
- Analyze system requirements and provide technical solutions to meet federal agency objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, security standards (FISMA/NIST), and data privacy laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance.
- Document technical specifications, system architectures, and user manuals.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure data integrity.
- Support system migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, specifically within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Oracle, and Linux environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting and documentation.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team under tight deadlines.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive government background investigation.
