Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage complex network infrastructure and server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability assessments and compliance auditing for state standards.
- Oversee the deployment of cloud-based solutions and virtualization technologies.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Collaborate with project managers to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management or system administration.
- Proven expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, encryption).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
