Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for software development and system upgrades.
- Design, code, and implement secure IT solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Conduct system performance testing and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and developers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide technical training and support to junior staff members and end-users across the department.
- Ensure compliance with state data privacy regulations and cybersecurity standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and Oracle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license may be required for occasional travel to state facilities.
