Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and configure network infrastructure within secure government environments.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Document technical procedures and maintain detailed logs of system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex IT challenges.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventative maintenance.
- Train junior staff and support end-users with technical inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA are highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
