Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems for federal agencies, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to safeguard network infrastructure against cyber threats.
- Enforce federal cybersecurity compliance standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53) and manage security protocols.
- Lead technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple locations.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide technical guidance on complex projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT systems administration or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Server environments and Linux operating systems.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, VPNs, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
