Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of server environments, networks, and cloud systems for government clients.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols (NIST/CIS Controls) to protect sensitive citizen data and ensure adherence to federal regulations.
- System Administration: Configure and manage operating systems (Windows/Linux) and applications, ensuring 99.9% uptime for essential services.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new software solutions and upgrade legacy government systems.
- Technical Support: Provide high-level technical guidance to junior staff and internal government stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Clearance: Active or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering within the government or defense sector.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Network+ strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
