Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions tailored to federal and state government standards.
- Ensure all technical deliverables adhere to strict compliance regulations (FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, system audits, and performance testing to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and support staff within the remote team.
- Manage incident response and troubleshooting for critical government systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or systems administration, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or willingness to undergo the background investigation process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
