Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT systems and networks in compliance with NIST and DoD standards.
- Conduct system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for critical infrastructure.
- Manage security protocols, ensuring data integrity and protection against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute federal IT projects on time and within budget.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Prepare detailed reports on system status, security audits, and project milestones.
- Support the integration of new technologies and legacy systems to modernize federal operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments or with large-scale enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation.
