Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Design: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and design robust IT solutions that align with federal and state compliance standards.
- Cybersecurity Management: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive citizen data and government networks.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within strict budget and timeline constraints.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party technology vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and guidance to internal staff and external agencies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, software development, or network administration.
- Certifications: Active certification such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or PMP is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Compliance: Strong understanding of government regulations, including FISMA and GDPR.
