As part of the Department of General Services, you will play a critical role in maintaining the digital infrastructure that serves millions of citizens.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex hardware and software issues.
- Ensure data security and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT workflows and user experience.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee IT service delivery contracts.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA) are highly preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for State employment.
