Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of Windows Server environments, Linux systems, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- System Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Incident Response: Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical outages and coordinate recovery procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration within a federal or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Certifications: Active Secret clearance required; Preferred: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL v4 Foundation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
