Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise server environments including virtualization, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect state data
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex system issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution
- Develop automation scripts for system monitoring, patch management, and deployment processes
- Document system configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with state agencies to align technology solutions with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows/Linux server environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation tasks
- Valid California driver's license and ability to pass background check
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management practices
