Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments across 50+ municipal systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity exercises
- Coordinate cloud migrations to Azure/GCP hybrid infrastructure
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network and hardware issues
- Document IT policies and procedures for compliance with NIST standards
- Mentor junior administrators and cross-departmental IT liaisons
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Windows Server environments
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V/VSphere) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of implementing HIPAA/FERPA compliance measures
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management
