Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise server environments (Windows/Linux) supporting 15,000+ users
- Implement security protocols compliant with NIST and CA state regulations
- Lead disaster recovery planning and testing for mission-critical systems
- Coordinate vendor relationships for cloud services (AWS/Azure) and hardware procurement
- Document system configurations and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Mentor junior staff on IT best practices and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Windows Server and Linux environments
- Certification in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Familiarity with COBIT frameworks and ITIL processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
