Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures and data protection policies.
- Conduct regular system audits, security assessments, and software updates.
- Collaborate with department heads to align IT solutions with organizational goals.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate service logs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven government environment.
