Responsibilities
- Perform complex data cleaning, validation, and analysis of voter registration and election data using SQL and Python.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to election officials.
- Collaborate with the IT department to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Prepare detailed documentation for data processes and analytical methodologies.
- Respond to data inquiries from county staff and the public in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Experience creating visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and ethics.
