Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) for government facilities.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and patch server hardware and software systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware and software maintenance.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to internal staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or a related IT field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
