Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex server infrastructure across hybrid on-premise and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Oversee network architecture and security protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal standards.
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting for critical system outages to minimize service disruption.
- Implement and manage Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy applications with modern digital platforms.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure Administrator.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux distributions.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery planning and business continuity practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working within the public sector or large enterprise environments is highly desirable.
