Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of IT system analysis, design, and implementation from concept through deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions and system specifications.
- Perform detailed system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure high system integrity and security.
- Monitor system performance metrics and provide technical support to internal stakeholders and end-users.
- Document technical specifications, requirements, and processes for future maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure strict compliance with state security standards, data privacy regulations, and IT governance policies.
- Conduct regular system audits and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in systems analysis, requirements gathering, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License is preferred for occasional travel to state facilities.
