Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure solutions.
- Conduct system performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Develop and enforce security protocols and compliance standards in accordance with federal and district regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party system integrations.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and developers.
- Document system architectures, processes, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Systems Analysis, Systems Administration, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP is strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and database management (SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- DC Government residency preferred.
