Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust IT systems and infrastructure tailored to government compliance standards.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with agency goals.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems adhere to strict federal and state security regulations, including HIPAA and FISMA.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between technical staff, government officials, and external vendors to translate complex technical jargon into actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement modernized solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide high-level technical guidance to junior analysts and developers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Certifications: PMP, CISSP, or ITIL v4 certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure). Experience with government project management tools is required.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
