Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and database architectures.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local government security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Conduct thorough system audits and performance tuning to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and operational procedures.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical incidents and system outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, specifically within a government or public sector environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and relational database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes and compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required government security clearance.
