Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure all system solutions comply with federal and state regulations, security standards, and data privacy laws.
- Conduct system audits, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting to ensure optimal uptime.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to executive leadership and the public.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis, IT consulting, or a related government role.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and legacy government systems.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, database management (SQL), and software development lifecycles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (or possess an active clearance).
