This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and availability of classified and unclassified networks operating on a 24/7 basis. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless network operations during night shifts, supporting critical government infrastructure, and implementing robust cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure and security appliances during night shift hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents, security alerts, and escalations in real-time.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management to mitigate security risks.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to hand over network status reports and pending issues.
- Conduct regular audits of network configurations to ensure compliance with federal security standards (NIST, DIACAP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or cybersecurity.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (favorable adjudication for Secret).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CCNP Security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operations center or night shift environment.
