We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pension Administrator to join our night shift operations team in Seattle, WA. In this pivotal role, you will manage the lifecycle of retirement benefits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursements to government retirees. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify pension disbursements, annuity payments, and retirement claims with 100% accuracy during night shifts.
- Conduct audits of retirement account data to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate complex pension information to retirees via phone, email, and secure portals.
- Manage data entry and reconciliation for the State Pension Plan database.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in benefit calculations or payment processing.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of critical accounts and issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in pension administration, retirement plan management, or government benefits processing.
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERPs (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Deep understanding of ERISA regulations and government payroll systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills under pressure.
